Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner for DSquared2 campaign

In their latest roles, models Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid are taken back to 1960s Texas, all big wigs and moody motel rooms in muted colours. But this isn’t a through the keyhole moment, this is DSquared2’s cinematic new Autumn-Winter 2018 campaign which sees the two models in their rooms while a party slowly ascends around them. Shot by acclaimed duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the two said of the girls getting into character, “Once the wig and outfits were on they totally felt the vibe and the characters.” They continued, “It was so much fun.”

The idea for the campaign came from the heavy western and cowboy influences of designers Dean and Dan’s DSquared2 collection. “The collection had lot of country western elements so at the beginning we were pursuing another idea and suddenly we came across some Dolly Parton images and sent them to Dean and Dan, they were totally in to it!
