It’s tough being a supermodel. I mean, can you imagine the fabulous after-parties, the exotic destinations and the insane outfits? SO MUCH WORK. But seriously, I can only imagine it might be pretty difficult to get some decent shut-eye if you’re constantly traveling from one part of the globe to the other. Call times can be early AF, and you have to look pretty damn great to get photographed every single day.
Bella Hadid might be new to this world, but she already has her travel hacks DOWN. In an interview with Teen Vogue, Bella opened up about how packed her schedule can get… especially since Paris Fashion Week is going on. She doesn’t always get her recommended eight hours. But TBH, I don’t either, and I always look like a damn zombie. So, how does Bella keep looking this fabulous? Turns out, it isn’t genes; it’s an amazing sleep hack I’ve never heard of before.
I recently started listening to meditation music which makes me have a deeper sleep, even if I just have four hours. I’m usually out by the fourth song.
And here’s another genius hack Bella uses to get the glow for Fashion Week: sleep masks.
I like the Dior Hydra Life Jelly Sleeping Mask before I go to sleep. When I wake up, my face is so refreshed and moisturized.
Bella Hadid, apparently a childhood fan of Bulgari jewelry, was named the new face of the brand’s accessories line earlier this month. She took a break from her many, many runway appearances to sit down for dinner with Bulgari at a party during Milan Fashion Week, along with fellow It models and scions like Lottie Moss, Caroline Vreeland, and Winnie Harlow. Hadid must really have taken a liking to the Vauthier dress she wore for the occasion, because she had actually worn it before — walking the runway at Vauthier’s Spring 2017 couture show. It was a Vauthier moment on the red carpet at Cannes that put Hadid on the international style radar, and, it seems, it’s to Vauthier she’ll always return when in need of some off-the-runway inspiration.
Why: On one of her previous trips this side of the pond — just less than a month ago — Hadid actually wore the same look. Only last time she was in Europe, she wore it on the runway. Here, she styles it with a sleek center-parted updo, rather than the décontracté waves that finished the look on the runway. It’s the perfect look for the Bulgari dinner, because it’s practically a piece of jewelry itself, all sheer chain mail draped over her lithe frame and paired with a Bulgari choker coiled around her neck (highlighted by that aforementioned bun). It’s glamorous and attention-grabbing and very, very ’80s — it might have shown in Paris, but it’s just the thing for a night on the town in Milan, with its newly revitalized club scene.
